This is a great number by Johnny Rivers, in the key of Em. This was out just before the Beatles arrival in America. Johnny played his own guitar, soloing about the 12th fret, staying true to each chord. I think a Duane Eddie approach would work here. Also, give a listen to the theme from Bonanza.
